Tyson Foods, Inc. has multiple openings for Lead Developers – Procurement in Springdale, AR. Participate in various activities throughout the systems development lifecycle. Develop high-quality technology solutions that meet the customer’s needs by the specified delivery date. Resolve support-related concerns while enhancing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Develop and maintain professional and technical knowledge of the area assigned, including a consistent focus on emerging and predominant technologies that enable the assigned area. Provide project delivery and support the execution of projects using Agile and Waterfall project methodology. Collaborate with the analysts and functional end users to understand requirements documentation. Review and provide guidance feedback to junior analysts within the same team area on proposed design. Develop technical specifications to provide necessary details for customized software development in both custom applications and extensions for packaged software, while following established standard and design patterns. Perform software application development within a variety of language platforms including technologies such as SAP, ABAP, UI 5, Fiori, .NET, HTML, CSS, and SuccessFactors. Maintain awareness of development best-practices including processes and technology and identify opportunities for improvement of existing functionality. Develop and use existing or research new tools that improve the delivery of solutions to customers. Perform Application Quality Assurance Design and execute performance application integration and unit testing during the development cycle. Develop and execute automated test cases for applications. Perform code reviews with junior developers to help ensure principles are met, design is sound, and code is efficient. Prepare Application Operations Development schedule and monitor batch processes. Establish application and database server monitoring to take a proactive approach to application support. Partner with various IT Technology team members to maintain versioning across application server databases. Support, create, maintain, and ensure quality of systems that support key customer business processes. Collaborate with the functional end user’s vendors and IT peers to support applications, system integrations, and capabilities as needed. Document and maintain support procedures and information as needed to maintain a positive support level. Focus on delivering support efforts within established service-level agreements to ensure department key performance indicators are met.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, and 3 years of experience performing coding, testing, and debugging tasks of software development.

Must have work experience in:

  • Custom application integration with Identity & Access Management stores, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Active Directory, and Okta;
  • Web Development in a broad set of platforms/languages, including React JS, React Native, Node.js, VB Script, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and NET framework (including CORE);
  • Integration and enhancement of packaged software, including SAP, Kantar, and Kronos (UKG);
  • Mobile device application development; and
  • Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Visio.
