Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Full Time in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol professional at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming customer experience, and communicate clearly with guests and team members. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture while delivering with teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including customer areas, entryways, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
