Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside.

The Supervisor-Transfer Center, oversees daily operations of the Illinois Division Transfer Center, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant patient transfers. This role serves as a clinical resource, leads staff development, and supports quality, regulatory, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders.


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
  • Associates degree in nursing and three years of clinical nursing experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Experience Qualifications

  • 5 years acute care nursing experience is required.
  • Prior Transfer Center experience is strongly preferred.
  • One of supervisory, charge nurse, or team lead experience in an acute care setting is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within three months of hire date.
