We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor / Production Manager to oversee multiple residential construction job sites and lead our field crews. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive construction knowledge who can identify and resolve job site issues, provide guidance to crew members, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires someone who is willing to work alongside the crews when needed while maintaining oversight of daily field operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 2-3 active residential and light commercial construction job sites.
- Lead, mentor, and direct field crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.
- Diagnose construction issues and provide practical solutions and direction to crew members.
- Perform hands-on construction work when necessary to keep projects moving and support the team.
- Coordinate daily schedules, manpower, and materials across multiple projects.
- Coordinate with material runner
- Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with building codes and company standards.
- Communicate project progress, concerns, and material needs
- Train and develop crew members on proper construction techniques and company expectations.
- Maintain positive relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on residential construction experience, with supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, including framing, roofing, siding, windows, doors, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and finish work.
- Proven ability to manage multiple job sites and prioritize daily tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift materials when necessary.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
