What you will do:

The Power Unit Assembler performs routine and non-routine production duties for light assembly projects. The assembler is responsible for the throughput and quality of the product which is measured to a standard. Actively participates in and supports the principles of Open-Book Management.


Some key responsibilities for Power Unit Assembler:

  • Assemble components using various tools
  • Create usable finished product which meets specification within the standard time allowed following all prescribed work instructions
  • Report defective materials, equipment, or questionable conditions to the supervisor/manager to identify and correct the root cause
  • Perform set-up of tools and work station with parts
  • Final inspection of finished product
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Support in-house and off-site education
  • Accomplishment of scheduled work within established times
  • Follow engineering and quality requirements
