Assistant Program Manager - US Navy Programs

Job DetailsJob Location: Alexandria, VA 22312Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 SalaryMayvin is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support U.S. Navy acquisition and program management at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This role provides program management, financial, engineering and acquisition support to Navy/NAVSEA/NAVAIR programs. Strong Navy background with programs and leadership executing technical Navy/NAVSEA/NAVAIR/NAVFAC/NAVSUP/ONR Programs.   Must be a U.S Citizen. Must have an active Secret or higher clearance. This position is onsite 5 days a week in Alexandria, VA.   Responsibilities: Provide program management support Analyze and support acquisition programs Provide administrative and communications support services Conduct capability assessments and mission analyses Support financial management and cost estimating efforts Deliver engineering and technical support services Lead day-to-day coordination between NAVSEA stakeholders and technical teams Develop and track integrated master schedules and risk registers Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or Minimum 5+ years of engineering or program management experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role Department of the Navy experience acquisition and Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated work experience in Program Management in support of DoD Program Management Office (PMO), Program Executive Office (PEO), or equivalent Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products / services, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint   Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) PMP and/or DAWIA Level III PM certification or 12 years of PM experience Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated work experience supporting acquisition programs to the DoD Prior Military service   About Mayvin Mayvin is more than a workplace—it’s a community built on innovation, inclusion, and impact.  Enjoy outstanding benefits and amenities, a truly inclusive work environment, and continuous opportunities for professional growth.
