HeplerBroom LLC, a prominent defense firm, is seeking a licensed Associate Attorney with 2+ for our Springfield, IL office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys interested in gaining experience in general civil litigation, particularly in cases involving medical negligence, employment discrimination, and general tort liability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze, and interpret statutes, rules, regulations, and court decisions
  • Assist with document review
  • Draft and respond to written discovery
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Write motions and briefs
  • Monitor case files to ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications:

  • Active membership in the Illinois bar
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Deposition experience (preferred)
