Brave Heart Family Care Service's is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team in Springfield, MA. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in patient condition to supervising staff
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to promote safety and independence
- Support patients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
- Document care activities accurately and in accordance with care plans
Requirements:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Massachusetts
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist with patient transfers and light physical tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent patient-centered care
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Valid ID and ability to pass a background check
