Customer Service Manager


Job Summary
The Customer Service Manager must be friendly, energetic, personable, comfortable working in a professional environment, committed to delivering excellent customer service and respectful of the sensitive and confidential information they may encounter. The customer service manager is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the customer service department, interacting with customers and handling customer queries and complaints in a timely manner. The customer service manager works closely with other department managers to develop an understanding of their products and services to provide better support to customers. They are also responsible for the development of the team, so they are successful helping customers via phone, chat and video teller machines. 


Primary Location/Schedule: 

  • 3050 S. Delaware Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm; alternating Saturdays 9:00 am – 12:00 pm 
  • Full-time: 40 hours per week average


Position Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field e.g. accounting, management, economics, business administration
  • Three to five years of clerical and customer service experience required
  • Excellent customer service and strong communication skills 
  • Strong mathematical, problem-solving and computer skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and escalations
  • Basic knowledge of banking operations preferred 
  • Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products & services
