The District Marketing Manager role at Chartwells Higher Education is an exceptionally outstanding opportunity to lead and innovate within a dynamic marketing landscape. This position supports multiple accounts across the division, working closely with unit directors and interns to ensure flawless execution of Chartwells’ brand standards. You will drive field marketing strategies and support growth, retention, and innovation efforts, making a tangible impact on our campus communities.Â

This role will support several campuses:
- Fitchburgh State University - Two Days Weekly
- Lasell University - One Day Weekly
- American International University - Rotating Weeks
- Massachusetts Maritime Academy -Â Rotating Weeks
- New England Institute of Technology - Rotating Weeks

We provide mileage and travel reinburesment from your campus base to accounts.
Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Lead units in completing marketing promotions, voluntary meal plan campaigns, and catering and retail sales driversÂ
- Ensure adherence to Chartwells’ residential, retail, and catering brand standards, including brand identity, visual merchandising, and guest experience platformsÂ
- Collaborate with campus communities to improve partnerships and support awareness of dining programs, including sustainability, nutritional and dietary awareness, and the residential dining experienceÂ
- Coordinate the execution of events and guest feedback programsÂ
- Develop marketing collateral and communication pieces, such as brochures, newsletters, programming announcements, and promotional guidesÂ
- Manager social media accounts
- Support new business and retention efforts through guest feedback, proposal development, and presentationsÂ
- Contribute to the development and execution of sector marketing and innovation initiativesÂ
Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Culinary, Hospitality, or Hotel Management preferredÂ
- Minimum of three years of marketing management experience, with a preference for contract foodservice experienceÂ
- Interpersonal skills to influence without direct authority, ensuring high standards and accountability across the fieldÂ
- Strong presentation skills, capable of addressing content with various collaborators, from regional support levels to field and front-line associatesÂ
- Diligent with strong writing skills to craft and maintain brand materials and voiceÂ
- Basic understanding of financial components in contract food service, including revenue, margin, costs, and risksÂ
