Job RequirementsÂ
At least 18 years of ageÂ
Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience Â
Eligible for employment in the USÂ
ANDÂ
At least three (3) years of work experience in ELECTRICAL systemsÂ
Â
Must be willing to meet the following requirements:Â
Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)Â
Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skillsÂ
Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employmentÂ
Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employmentÂ
Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employmentÂ
Work any shift and/or a rotating shift scheduleÂ
Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notificationÂ
Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basisÂ
Wear required safety equipmentÂ

It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s):Â Â
Associates degree or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or other related disciplines within instrumentation/electrical.Â
Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.Â

The Job You Will Perform:Â Â
This position will assist journeymen-level Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Â
Electrician:Â
Troubleshoot, install, repair AC and DC drive systems as well as stand-alone process drives of various manufacturersÂ
• Troubleshoot, install, maintain various electrical components such as mechanical limit, proximity, photo electric, speed and reflective switches Â
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematicsÂ
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on 480v thru 13.8kv power distribution switchgearÂ
• Understand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazards Â
• Other duties as assignedÂ
