Purpose

This role implements maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of production equipment 

Key Missions

  • Manages and participates in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, following the local safety guidelines  
  • Repairs and maintains mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments, following the local safety guidelines 
  • Liaise with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new equipment with production schedules  
  • Works in a team with H&S to ensure the machines are compliant with the law  
  • Maintains key performance indicators 

Profile & Other Information

  • Holds electric or mechanical basics  
  • Possesses basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and tools obtained through work experience or education  
  • Works under supervision  
  • Minimum necessary experience: < 2 years of relevant experience(s)  
  • Geographical Scope: Local or Country

 

EHS Standards and Responsibilities

 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to stand with frequent, walking, bending, and reaching throughout a 12 hour shift 
  • Manual dexterity required for handling small components and tools 
  • Ability to visually inspect products and read labels or screens 
  • Must wear required PPE, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and gloves in designated areas. Adheres to all site safety policies, procedures, and machine-specific safety protocols.

  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe workstation following 5S and housekeeping standards to prevent slips, trips, and ergonomic risks 
  • Demonstrates a “Stop Work” mindset when unsafe conditions exist
