Description

Vistra is seeking a driver to provide executive transportation services at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The geographic coverage for this requirement is the National Capital Area and within a 250-mile radius of the District of Columbia. MUST have active secret clearance. 


  •  Operate a sedan to transport CISA personnel and designated government employees to official sites and other locations within the capital region to include all airports.
  • Maintain a daily manifest of trips.
  • Arrive at pick-up locations within ten (10) minutes prior to the scheduled departure time, to ensure passengers get to their drop-off destination by the time requested and scheduled by the Supervisor/Dispatcher.
  • Ensure transportation safety by developing comprehensive transportation route plans to ensure the most favorable and secure routes are taken between various locations.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute transportation plans with other drivers and agencies as required.
  • Avoid high-risk areas by maintaining awareness of possible civil disturbances and altering routes should unfavorable situations arise.
  • Abide by all posted regulations and state traffic laws.
  • Communicate and provide support during emergency situations.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable.
  • Perform all safety and maintenance checks of the vehicle prior to operation.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is not loaded beyond capacity.
  • Act as back-up dispatcher when required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Must have a minimum Personal Clearance (PCL) of Secret.  Please do not apply if you do not have this requirement.
  • Must be proficient in English language communication.
  • Must have a very good working knowledge of the streets and locations in the National Capitol Region (NCR) and surrounding areas within Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
  • Must be trained in the techniques of defensive driving.
  • Must wear proper attire, as directed, at all times.
  • Must always present and conduct yourself in a professional manner.
  • Have familiarity with and working knowledge of trip routes/directions and/or rely upon the proper navigational tools to destinations.
