Description

Overall Assignment Description:

This junior analyst provides foundational support for financial management activities. The role focuses on assisting with data gathering, document preparation, and tracking transactions to support the program's budget formulation and execution processes under the guidance of senior staff. Work at this level involves the execution of established office procedures and standard practices with oversight.

Duties may include:

• Assisting in gathering, maintaining, and reviewing program and budget data from various financial systems and data calls.

• Supporting the development and publication of budget exhibits for the Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB) and Intelligence Program Budget Submission (IPBS).

• Assisting in the preparation and processing of funding documents (e.g., purchase requests) and preparing basic financial briefing materials.

Supporting all aspects of budget execution tracking, including monitoring commitments, obligations, and expenditures against approved plans.

Requirements

Required:

• TS/SCI

• 0-3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's, compliant with GSA standards.

• Demonstrated experience with DoW or other government agency budgetary or finance processes.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired:

• A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

• Experience with government financial systems.
