Float Teller – Full Time


Job Summary

Requires an individual who likes to have variety in their work environment. Candidates must be friendly, personable and committed to delivering excellent customer service.  Duties include: processing routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check issuance), opening all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts, etc.), resolving customer service issues, and cross-selling bank products and services. Work locations will vary based on staffing needs at multiple banking locations in the greater Springfield area.


Primary Location/Schedule: 

  • 3050 S Delaware Springfield, MO 65804
  • Daily work assignments will be primarily Mount Vernon, Carthage, and Ash Grove area OMB locations, reliable transportation required
  • Daily  schedule will vary based on the banks operating hours 
  • 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm Saturday
  • Full-time - approximately 40 hours per week

Position Requirements: 

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to report to for work at multiple work sites throughout the day as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of three years of cash handling and customer service experience 
  • A minimum of one year in retail banking, including teller transactions and new accounts preferred
  • Excellent customer service and strong communication skills 
  • Strong mathematical, problem-solving and computer skills 
  • Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills 
  • Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products & services
