Clinical Care & Teamwork
- Deliver excellent nursing care in a behavioral health setting
- Monitor patient progress and support individualized care plans
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support holistic care
- Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
- Build professional relationships with patients, families, and team members
- Advocate for patient needs through collaborative problem-solving
- Continue learning through hands-on coaching, on-site instructors, and psychiatric provider training
- Support structured therapeutic programming that promotes coping skills, goals, mindfulness, and life skills
- Education and processing groups with RNs and therapists
- MHT-led groups focused on coping skills, goals, mindfulness, and life skills
- Recreational therapy in designated spaces including the sensory room, library, gym, video game room, and newly constructed outdoor space opening this spring
- Active LPN license in Missouri
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Experience in behavioral health or pediatric nursing
- Background in inpatient psychiatric care
- Knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment
- No behavioral health experience? We’re willing to provide training and support for the right candidate.
- 12-hour shifts available: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
- Weekend rotation required
