What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff including housekeepers, painters, groundskeepers, and service techniciansÂ
- Participate in on-call for after-hours emergencies.Â
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and job estimatesÂ
- Ensure make-ready units and work orders are completed in a timely mannerÂ
- Monitor and manage D&R, supplies, replacements, and capital expenses to budgetÂ
- Maintain accurate logs and documentationÂ
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and team membersÂ
- Step in to support staffing decisions and team supervision when neededÂ
- Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs as requiredÂ
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
- 4+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a trade-specific roleÂ
- HVAC certification- Type 2 or EPA Universal
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance, construction, and safety practicesÂ
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environmentsÂ
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditionsÂ
- Excellent communication and leadership skillsÂ
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesÂ
- Personal cell phone required for on-call availabilityÂ
Additional Details:
- High school diploma or GED requiredÂ
- Work may be performed on rooftops and require use of ladders or lift devicesÂ
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautionsÂ
