Job Description:

The MA III performs administrative duties that might include, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry in medical records under the direct supervision of a supervisor or provider. Clinical duties will include measuring and recording vital signs, collecting demographics or medical information including review of medication list, preparing patients for examination, cleaning rooms and equipment and stocking supplies. This position will involve the administration of medications.Education: â–ª Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: â–ª No Prior Experience Skills: â–ª Excellent verbal and written communication skills â–ª Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams â–ª Self starter Licensure/Certification/Registration: â–ª Required: Certification or Registration from a CoxHealth approved certification program: CMA/AAMA, RMA/AMT, CCMA/NHA, NRCMA/NAHP, NCMA/NCCT, RMA/AAMP.
