Job Summary
The Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) tends to the physical and emotional needs of assigned clients and fosters a supportive group living environment. Join us for a flexible work schedule, perfect for students, those seeking extra work, or individuals eager to gain experience in mental health and social services.

- High school diploma or GED equivalency
Schedule:
- Flexible PRN schedules
- Hours based on your availability and the needs of the campus.
- Minimum Requirement (1) shift every 30 days.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old to apply
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
- Valid driver's license
- Valid auto insurance
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience Working with children and families in a trauma informed environment
Essential Duties:
- Manage youth safely, avoiding therapeutic holds.
- Model positive behaviors and coping skills using a strength-based approach.
- Ensure client safety and security while attending to their needs in a nurturing manner.
- Participate in various meetings to share client information and discuss cottage life matters.
- Supervise clients, assign daily chores, assist with homework, and encourage recreational activities.
- Perform evening and night duties such as cottage checks and laundry as instructed.
- Implement treatment plans and complete necessary documentation.
