🧩 What You’ll Do
- 🌱 Provide positive role modeling and teach appropriate life skills to residents.
- 👀 Conduct direct observation rounds during assigned shifts and document patient behavior.
- 🧠 Support daily living skills through task assignment, coaching, and supervision.
- 🎨 Lead or assist with individual and group activities and programs.
- 👋 Orient patients to the unit and assist with the discharge process.
- 🗣️ Use verbal de-escalation skills when a resident is agitated.
- 🚶 Accompany patients to meals, recreation, education activities, and unit-based programming.
- 🛡️ Help maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 🎓 High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 🔞 Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 🤝 At least one year of experience in a children’s services program or residential setting, or completion of two years of college coursework in social sciences.
- 🚗 Valid state driver’s license required.
- 🫶 Ability to successfully complete CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention training during New Hire Orientation.
