Internal Position Title: Homeownership Loan Processor and Servicing Specialist
Pay Range: $24.04–$31.25 per hour, DOE
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility
Location: Remote/Hybrid, based out of our Springfield, OR office
Position Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term — currently funded for two years
Reports to: Executive Director of Homeownership

We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Mortgage Loan Processor and Servicing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure that loans move smoothly from application through funding and servicing.

What You'll Do

You'll support the processing, funding, and servicing of residential mortgage and silent second loans through DevNW's Wildfire, Down Payment Assistance, and Amplify Oregon Mortgage programs.

Your work will include:

  • Reviewing loan files to make sure they are complete, accurate, and meet program requirements.
  • Collecting and verifying borrower and loan information.
  • Identifying missing or incorrect information and following up as needed.
  • Supporting Loan Officers and Mortgage Loan Originators throughout the loan process.
  • Ordering and coordinating third-party services, such as appraisals and employment verifications.
  • Entering and maintaining loan information in loan servicing systems.
  • Managing loan documentation, payment information, escrow records, payoffs, and borrower correspondence.
  • Researching and resolving discrepancies in loan and servicing records.
  • Maintaining organized and accurate electronic and physical files.
  • Supporting quality control reviews, audits, and other compliance activities.
  • Working closely with Finance, Underwriting, program staff, and other internal teams.
  • Protecting the confidentiality and security of borrower information.
  • Providing general administrative and operational support to the Homeownership team.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with detailed financial information.

You may be a great fit if you have:

  • At least two years of administrative experience. Experience in loan processing or loan servicing is preferred.
  • Experience working with databases, loan systems, or other data management platforms.
  • Experience reviewing and maintaining detailed files and documentation.
  • Familiarity with mortgage lending, loan documentation, or loan servicing.
  • Experience reviewing income, assets, credit, or collateral documentation.
  • Strong data entry, recordkeeping, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.

An associate degree or coursework in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred.


Work Environment
This is a remote/hybrid position with schedule flexibility and weekly in-person workdays at our Springfield office. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer and may occasionally require lifting up to 10 pounds.
