Palantir Data Engineer

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with Palantir for our clients.

As a data engineer on our National Security team, you’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you’ll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on the tasking of national, commercial, and emerging assets.

You Have:   

  • 5+ years of experience with Python, TypeScript, or Foundry AIP for application development  

  • Experience with Data Connections and Code Repositories or Pipeline Builder for data ingestion and transformation

  • Experience with Foundry application and workflow development in Workshop and Ontology Manager

  • Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms 

  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, define requirements, and translate them into technical solutions

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:   

  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications at enterprise scale 

  • Experience working with Agile software teams, conducting code reviews, and implementing DevSecOps practices

  • Experience with Git repositories, CI/CD workflows, or infrastructure automation

  • Experience with mission analytics or government-focused data solutions

  • Experience with AI or ML model integration within Foundry applications

  • Knowledge of Foundry security models, access control, and compliance frameworks

  • Knowledge of GEOINT collection and associated systems

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
