Pharmacist in Charge - CS

Now Hiring – Pharmacist in Charge – [Partners of Woodbine Developmental Center Pharmacy]

Hours: MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM TO 4:30PM  

The Pharmacist in Charge will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Participates in all new business development
2. Keeps abreast of the latest technology and innovations as they apply to pharmacy practice
3. Hiring new personnel
4. Promotes effective personnel, departmental and organizational working relationships that reinforce the achievement of organizational goals, objectives and operational effectiveness
5. Ensures that all pharmacy operations meet all licensing standards established by local, state and federal agencies
6. Participates in the collection and evaluation of continuous quality improvement data in accordance with established policies and procedures
7. Coordinates the provision of training of pharmacist and technicians
8. Coordinates pharmacy procedures with other departments
9. Accurate records of all prescription medication received and dispensed are maintained
10. Policies are in place regarding accurate dispensing and labeling of prescriptions and that such policies are followed
11. Security of the prescription area and its contents are maintained at all times and the reporting of any thefts and/or diversions of controlled substances to the Office of Drug Control and the Drug Enforcement Administration
12. No misbranded, deteriorated, adulterated, improperly stores or outdated drugs or any drugs marked sample or with any like designation or meaning are dispensed or present in the active stock in the pharmacy.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

Professional Experience:

• Must be a State Registered Pharmacist
• 5+ years of Pharmacist experience, 3 of which in a Supervisory capacity
• Long Term Care or Retail experience, preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
