Now Hiring – Pharmacy Technician Supervisor – [Partners Pharmacy of New Jersey 50 Lawrence Road Springfield NJ 07081]

Hours: Monday -Friday 10:30am-7pm, 11:30-8pm rotating shifts

The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Daily management and scheduling of the Pharmacy Technicians

2. Help to establish, coordinate, and maintain daily work functions

3. Oversee job performance of technical personnel in accordance with established standards

4. Assures the competency of technical staff, when needed assist in performance improvement

5. Aid in the screening, selection, hiring, and orientation process for new staff

6. Provide ongoing staff support and development for the department

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Professional Experience:

• 3 years Pharmacy Technician experience, 1 of which in a supervisory capacity
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
• PTCB license, a plus
• Knowledge of brand name/generic drug names
• Knowledge of SIG codes
• Strong knowledge of Pharmacy Operations
