Program Manager

Clearance: Active Top Secret (ability to obtain SCI access)

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a highly qualified Program Manager (PM) to lead a complex IT/IM services contract for a potential opportunity supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC). The PM will serve as the senior contractor representative and primary liaison to Government leadership, responsible for overall program execution, delivery, and mission alignment across a diverse portfolio of IT services supporting national defense operations.
This opportunity is 100% remote.


The PM will oversee all aspects of contract performance, including technical execution, staffing, scheduling, cost, and quality, while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and regulations. Working closely with the KO, COR, and ACORs, the PM will manage key functional areas, including IT operations, cybersecurity, network and systems administration, and helpdesk support, to meet mission priorities.

This role requires leading geographically dispersed teams, ensuring personnel readiness, and implementing effective program management processes for performance tracking, risk management, and resource allocation. The PM will also oversee program finances and ensure the timely, accurate delivery of required reports and deliverables while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

The PM will collaborate with Government stakeholders to align support with mission needs, manage risks, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and DoD requirements. The position may require support for surge or contingency operations, including extended hours to meet mission-critical demands.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field (master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT programs or Department of Defense IT programs/contracts.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary technical teams
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance required; ability to obtain SCI access
  • Strong knowledge of IT operations, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems
  • Experience working within DoD/Federal contracting environments (FAR/DFARS)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
