Our unit is a great environment for learning and has many opportunities to grow and develop your nursing knowledge and improve your critical thinking skills. We have complex patients which require telemetry monitoring and interventions. As a nurse you will get to learn and practice nursing skills and also get comfortable with different drips and procedures that typical medical-surgical units do not get to do. Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. Education
â–ª Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
▪ Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience:
â–ª Preferred: Previous nursing experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
