Through proactive engagement and collaborative problem-solving, the Throughput RN is entrusted with the responsibility of guiding patients and referring providers through the complex transfer process. Patient Placement & Bed Planning
Staffing & Nursing Logistics
Coordination of Patient Transfers into Mercy Hospitals (East Region)
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced acute care nurse who wants to stay clinically engaged without the physical demands of bedside nursing. Our HUB nurses work remotely via phone and computer to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Position Overview:
TheĀ East Region Throughput Center RNĀ serves as a clinical expert and point of contact for:
Providers and facilities initiating patient transfers or admissions to Mercy hospitals.
Assigning patients to appropriate units based on facility-specific criteria.
Staffing coordination and logistics.
Youāll use EMR modules, electronic scheduling systems, and collaborate with care teams to ensure a seamless, reliable experience for patients, providers, and coworkers.

What Youāll Need to Succeed:
RN LicenseĀ ā Current RN license in the state of Missouri required.
ExperienceĀ ā Minimum 3 years in Telemetry or higher acuity nursing
CertificationsĀ ā BLS required
