Sonographer (Diagnostic Imaging) - FT/80

Description

The Sonographer will:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Perform daily check of work area.
• Performs department ancillary functions.
• Provide education to patients and families. 
• Maintain professionalism and qualities consistent with an ultrasound technologist.
• Demonstrate the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities for age specific patient populations.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or proven competence through on-the-job training and specialized courses. 
• Must have a knowledge base and experience to work independently
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ADRMS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $37.55 - $45.77 per hour. The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education and experience of the successful candidate.
