Urgent need for RN Home Health in Fairfax, VA with $2320 Weekly Gross

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse Home Health for a 13-week travel/contract position in Fairfax, VA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate: Range $2240 to $2320 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Mileage Reimbursement: $0.50/mile for distance covered between patient home appointments

Unit: Home Health

Shift: 8 Hours; Days, 8.00a - 5.00p

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
  
• Recent/Current Home Health Nursing Experience: 1 year within the past 3 years – Required
  
• OASIS experience: Recent/current - Required
  
• Home Care Home Base (HCHB) charting experience: Recent/current - Required
  
• Must be Covid Vaccination with booster - No declination, Exemptions may be approved on a case to case basis, booster can be obtained upon offer 
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  
• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  
• RN License for State of VA  - Required
  
• BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross - Required
  

Job Description:

• Provide and coordinate care for assigned Home Health patients 
  
• Develop and implement nursing care plans for patients as assigned.
  
• Empower patients and families to reach healthcare goals by educating them on disease management.
  
• Provide Home Health nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.
  
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately per policy and procedure.
  
• Ensure patients’ status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information is gathered and documented.
  
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status.
  
• Document and complete charting 
  
• Territories: Fairfax & Prince William County area and 50 miles radius
