Volunteer Opportunity: Soccer Coach

Do you love soccer and enjoy working with kids? Join the YMCA of Middle Tennessee as a Volunteer Soccer Coach! Help create a safe, fun environment where young athletes can learn skills, build confidence, and develop a love for the game.

✨ What You’ll Do:

- Coach and guide a youth soccer team during practices and games

- Lead warm-ups, keep practices on schedule, and ensure equal playing time

- Communicate updates like schedule changes or rain delays to participants and families

- Teach proper techniques to ensure safety and skill development

- Build positive relationships with players, families, staff, and officials

Qualifications:

- Minimum Age: 18

- 1-3 years of coaching or teaching experience preferred

- Pass a background check and complete YMCA Youth Sports Coaches Training

Returning Coaches: If you volunteered within the past 12 months, contact your Sports Director—no new application may be needed!
