Job Summary:
The Warehouse Inventory Processing Specialist is responsible for managing and processing inventory adjustments related to returned merchandise, mis-ships, warranty claims, store ship-backs, and other product movement within the warehouse. This role ensures that inventory is accurately verified, documented, and returned to stock or otherwise properly dispositioned. The position works closely with Customer Care, Sales Representatives, and store teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain efficient warehouse operations. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple processes are critical to success in this role.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process inventory adjustments related to mis-ships, warranty claims, store ship-backs, refused shipments, trades, and customer merchandise returns.
- Communicate with store teams and sales representatives regarding inventory processing details and documentation.
- Coordinate with Customer Care on inventory-related issues to ensure accurate resolution.
- Issue customer credits as required based on verified documentation and company guidelines.
- Verify returned stock against paperwork and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Restock returned inventory or assign alternative disposition based on product condition and company procedures.
- Document defective products and perform product testing when required.
- Process tool returns, warranty claims, and manage brand RMA tracking to support reimbursement processes.
- Process sales representative returns and store representative returns, ensuring all transactions are logged and cleared up accurately.
- Monitor and process inventory-related emails daily to maintain timely communication and resolution.
Breakdown & Inventory Coordination
- Perform product breakdowns following promotional periods or as needed.
- Log pending and completed breakdowns and follow established reporting procedures.
- Review and coordinate the disposal or relocation of dead or slow-moving stock to optimize warehouse bin locations.
- Reallocate warehouse bin space following breakdowns to maintain efficient inventory organization and storage.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple processes in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
Education and Experience:
- Inventory, supply chain or logistical experience required.
- Certifications
- 1-2 years in supply chain or logistics
- Experience with inventory database, excel or Microsoft Suite
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting
- Standing/bending
- Pushing/Pulling
- Amount of weight expected to handle and frequency (10-20 lbs. occasionally, etc.)
- Other physical requirements or abilities needed.
