Job Description:
This pharmacist will staff our St Louis Children's at CoxHealth Joint Venture Pharmacy in our hospital-within-a-hospital (HwH) model. Staff pharmacists process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.Education: â–ª Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy â–ª Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency Experience: â–ª Required: No Prior Experience Required â–ª Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training Skills: â–ª None specified Licensure/Certification/Registration: â–ª Required: Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist â–ª **Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire** â–ª Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hireLearn more about this Employer on their Career Site
