Hourly pay $21.74

Must have 2 years of Armed Security experience

Must have an active Armed Virginia Security Officer Guard Card with Firearm endorsement.

Weekday

Mon & Tues 4pm-12am

Sat & Sun 8am-8pm

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operative in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring professionalism, integrity, and teamwork to every shift while contributing to a caring, agile, and reliable culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including entrances, parking areas, perimeters, and other assigned areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to verify authorization for entry into restricted areas while following healthcare location protocols and security-related procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable requirements, maintaining a professional presence while supporting staff during medical, behavioral, and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
