As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will partner closely with leaders and employees to shape a positive, high performing workplace. This role plays a key part in supporting hiring, performance, employee relations, and compliance while helping leaders navigate people related decisions that keep the Cooperative moving forward.

While Senior level candidates are preferred, this opportunity may be filled at the Human Resources Business Partner or Senior Human Resources Business Partner level, depending on the selected candidate’s experience, scope of impact, and demonstrated capabilities.

What You’ll Do

• Work side by side with leaders to understand workforce needs, support hiring decisions, and guide the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through transitions.

• Coach leaders and employees on performance expectations, feedback conversations, and performance improvement when needed.

• Handle employee relations matters with care and professionalism, conducting investigations, gathering facts, and helping leaders reach fair, well-reasoned outcomes.

• Provide practical guidance on policies, procedures, and employment practices so leaders feel confident making sound, compliant decisions.

• Partner with leaders on more complex people challenges, using insight, data, and judgment to influence outcomes across teams and locations.

• Lead or contribute to HR projects, balancing multiple priorities while keeping HR leadership informed and aligned.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• At least three years of progressive human resources experience.

• A solid foundation in core HR practices such as staffing, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

• Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to coach, advise, and influence leaders and employees.

• Comfort working with Microsoft Office tools and Human Capital Management systems.

Preferred

• Professional HR certification.

• Experience working in Workday.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex or sensitive employee situations with sound judgment and discretion.
