Description
Complete installation of new heating and cooling systems, and relocation of existing systems.
- Operate company vehicle as needed
- Work well with customers, co-workers and other sub-contractors
- Follow instructions from supervisor and journeyman, and carry out in a timely manner
- Installation of ductwork in a neat & professional manner
- Keep job site and company vehicle clean and organized
- Attend continued professional HVAC training as scheduled by management
- Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Maintain a regularly punctual attendance record, fill out daily timecard accurately
- Effectively communicate with co-workers and other sub-contractors
- Adhere to company safety rules and regulations
- Regular use of personal protective equipment
- Come to work ready to work with proper tools and attire
- Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
Requirements
- Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance
- Desire to advance in career through apprenticeship program and on-the-job training
- Ability to work well independently or as a team
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds consistent with trade practice
- Ability to work out of town when necessary
- Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperatures
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to work off ladders & lifts
- Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Previous HVAC experience in a commercial application is preferred
- Enrollment in apprenticeship program or technical/trade school is preferred
- Previous experience reading blue prints is preferred
- Basic written and verbal English language communication skills
