Industrial Maintenance Technician I

Tech I Starting Pay: $22-$25+/hr
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Do you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping operations running smoothly? Watson Custom Tanks is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician I to join our Facilities Maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain and repair machinery, equipment, tools, and facility systems that support our manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Inspect components for wear, alignment, and performance issues
- Repair and install pneumatic, hydraulic, and air systems
- Use welding and fabrication skills to repair or create parts as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support facility maintenance projects and other assigned duties
What We're Looking For
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
- Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V three-phase
- Pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance experience
- Ability to use fabrication and metalworking equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and precision measuring tools
- Welding experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety
- Ability to work effectively with teammates across the organization
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Safely work with tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment
- Wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots
