To thrive as a Full-Time Registered Nurse in the State Home Care Program at Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc. (GSSSI), you will need a diverse skill set that combines clinical expertise with strong organizational abilities. Proficiency in community nursing is essential, as you will be responsible for developing comprehensive care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each consumer. 

Additionally, adeptness in preparing and maintaining nursing documentation—both in paper and electronic formats—will ensure accurate tracking of consumer progress and adherence to regulatory standards. Strong communication skills will facilitate collaboration with team members and families, fostering a supportive environment for our consumers. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate from a school of nursing school accredited by the National League for Nursing
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or an Associate's of Science Nursing degree in Nursing and at least one (1) year clinical experience and/or nursing in the community or long-term care setting.

Or

• A diploma RN and two (2) additional years of community-based nursing experience or long-term care direct service experience.
