JGS Lifecare – Leavitt Family Jewish Home is seeking an experienced Temporary Full‑Time Cook to support our Skilled Nursing community during a defined temporary period. This role plays a key part in delivering nutritious, high‑quality meals in a healthcare setting.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
  • Accommodate special diets and therapeutic meal plans common in skilled nursing
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food prep areas
  • Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing teams to support resident care
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
What You'll Need: 
  • Minimum of 5 years of cooking experience (healthcare or institutional experience preferred)
  • ServSafe Certification required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
