Job Description:
Provide advanced ECG monitoring by observing for arrhythmia interpretation, life-threatening dysrhythmias, and rate/rhythm changes for patients on continuous telemetry. Responsible for monitoring multiple patients simultaneously. Communicate changes in a timely manner using calm and succinct communication strategies. Facilitate removal of telemetry for patients when orders expire.â—¦ Education â–ª Required: High school diploma or equivalent â—¦ Experience â–ª Preferred: EKG or related healthcare experience â—¦ Skills â–ª Typing and computer skills â–ª Good interpersonal communication â—¦ Licensure/Certification/Registration â–ª Required: BLS within 90 days of hire. â–ª Successful completion of required telemetry interpretation courses within 90 days of hire.Learn more about this Employer on their Career Site
