Physical Therapy Technician

About the Role:

OCI Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician.  This role plays a crucial role in supporting physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care. This position involves assisting patients with therapeutic exercises and modalities, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment to aid their recovery. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized treatment area, which is essential for a safe and effective therapy environment. Additionally, the role includes administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient billing, contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic. Ultimately, the Physical Therapy Technician helps enhance the patient experience and supports the rehabilitation process, making a significant impact on patients' lives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment for patient use.
• Provide patient education on exercises and self-care techniques.
• Assist with patient scheduling and answer phones.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.

Skills:

Teamwork is a key component of this role, as collaboration with physical therapists and other staff members enhances the overall patient care experience.

Benefits:

Both Part-time and Full-time positions Monday-Friday.  Full-time salary range $31,200-$37,440.00 per year with excellent benefits.
