Commercial Roofer

Location: Based in Springfield
Service Area: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Vermont
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

JD Rivet Roofing is a sister company of Ameritech Contracting and is seeking experienced, dependable Roofers to join our growing team. This position services residential and commercial projects throughout the Northeast, including MA, CT, RI, NH, and VT. Candidates must be willing to travel regionally and work in varying weather conditions. We are looking for motivated professionals who take pride in quality craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems including asphalt shingles, EPDM, TPO, PVC, and metal roofing
• Perform roof tear-offs and replacements
• Inspect problem roofs to determine best repair procedures
• Measure and cut materials to fit specific roof areas
• Install vapor barriers and insulation
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain job site cleanliness and safety compliance
• Load/unload materials and operate roofing equipment
• Travel to job sites throughout MA, CT, RI, NH, and VT as required

Qualifications

• 2+ years roofing experience preferred (commercial experience a plus)
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Strong understanding of roofing systems and safety procedures
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
