Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate industrial cutter equipment (36"–59" programmable cutters).
- Read, understand, and execute job tickets with precise size specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of cut materials across various substrates.
- Troubleshoot cutter equipment and identify production issues proactively.
- Maintain workflow efficiency to meet production deadlines.
- Work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Support general bindery and finishing operations as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience operating programmable cutters (Polar or similar).
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to inspect materials for accuracy and quality.
- Computer literate, with the ability to follow digital job tickets and workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and meet production demands.
- Knowledge of printing processes and various print substrates.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
Work Environment
- Fast‑paced commercial print manufacturing setting.
- Collaborate with prepress, press, and finishing teams to ensure high‑quality output.
