Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support the design and construction of infrastructure and facility projects. This role involves providing technical leadership, reviewing design packages, and supporting construction activities across a variety of civil engineering disciplines. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in site development, utilities, and stormwater systems, along with the ability to work in dynamic field environments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and construction of civil infrastructure and facility projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and review engineering design packages.
  • Support project efforts related to:
    • Utilities design
    • Site development
    • Paving and grading
    • Drainage systems
    • Stormwater design and modeling
  • Perform or review hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
  • Utilize engineering tools such as StormWise (formerly ICPR), ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and WaterCAD/SewerCAD.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Support construction activities, including field inspections and issue resolution.
  • Assist with cost estimating and project documentation.
  • Prepare and review technical reports and project deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background and financial check.
  • 12+ years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Strong experience in site development, utilities, and stormwater systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Pro, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with cost estimating software.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills (fluent in English, written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with StormWise (ICPR), ArcGIS, and WaterCAD/SewerCAD.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Salary Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
