Mercy Medical Center, Lab (Micro) 24 hrs, Days ATTACH A RESUMEYou would be responsible for providing highly skilled analysis of blood, fluids, and tissue samples in the Microbiology section.

What you will do:
Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures
Ensures operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment
Position Hours:
24 hours, Day Shift, e/o weekend & rotating holidays
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college/university or Associate’s Degree in an MLT certification program.
MT, MLS or MLT-ASCP or equivalent level certification by one of the professional societies. Or must be eligible to obtain certification within the first year of employment.
Prior experience in Microbiology

Pay Range: $30.10 - $48.15
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
