Job DetailsJob Location: SPRINGFIELD, IL 62703Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $16.00 - $19.00 HourlyJob Title: Warehouse Product Picker / Loader Job Summary The Warehouse Product Picker / Loader is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, and loading merchandise to fulfill customer orders. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this position uses RF scanners and material handling equipment to locate, retrieve, stack, and load products according to company standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring order accuracy, operational efficiency, and on-time deliveries. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanning technology. Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse storage locations. Verify product descriptions, quantities, and serial numbers to ensure order accuracy and minimize shipping errors. Stack, wrap, and label merchandise securely on pallets to prepare orders for shipment. Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, following all company safety procedures. Load completed pallets onto side-load and rear-load delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Comply with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse safety standards. Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift. Ability to work safely around moving equipment and warehouse traffic. Working Conditions Warehouse environment with varying noise levels. Exposure to changing temperatures, including refrigerated storage areas. Frequent use of warehouse equipment and material handling machinery. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs. QualificationsQualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. One (1) year of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred. Experience using RF scanners or other warehouse management technology preferred. Forklift and/or pallet jack certification is a plus, or the ability to obtain certification. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
