POSITION SUMMARYÂ
We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move rolls of material around our facility with the goal of ensuring material and products are in the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate a sit-down forklift to safely move raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies throughout the facility.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support safe and efficient operations.
- Review production schedules, work orders, and specifications to ensure materials are available for upcoming jobs.
- Assist with routine machine maintenance and basic equipment upkeep as needed.
- Palletize finished rolls, wrap products, and prepare shipments according to company standards.
- Apply identification tags and labels to finished products to ensure accurate inventory tracking and shipping.
- Perform quality inspections on materials and finished products as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping of floors, equipment, and workspaces.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, safety footwear, and hearing protection.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous forklift certification
- Team player
- Able to work independently
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Regularly lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment for the duration of the work shift.
