Physical Therapist Assistant


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist

- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed

- Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to support recovery

- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to all safety protocols

- Ensure accurate documentation of patient sessions and treatment outcomes

- Support the overall operation of the therapy department to ensure efficient patient care delivery


Skills and Qualifications:

- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

- Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant

- Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and modalities
