POWDER COATING SPECIALIST

POSITION SUMMARY

Rustica Hardware is seeking to add an experienced and highly-motivated power coating specialist. This position will be responsible for powder coating metal products to good standard; identify, pick and return powder boxes correctly and according to work schedule; and provide cleaning and maintenance to powder coating spray booth and conveyor line according to specifications. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Operate electrostatic powder coating spray booth according to specification 
• Identify, pick and return powder boxes correctly according to work schedule 
• Demonstrate good ability to spray powder to correct thickness range 
• Possess versatility to spray to a good standard range of surfaces, awkward profiles and overcoat rejected powder coated parts 
• Clean down electrostatic spray guns and booths correctly 
• Provide maintenance of the spray gun parts and booths according to instruction 
• Prepare powder coating line prior to beginning the powder coating process 
• Maintain safe and clean work station while adhering to all safety policies and guidelines 

QUALIFICATIONS  

• Previous powder coating experience preferred 
• Knowledge of warehouse and metal shop work environment 
• Knowledge of equipment safety standards 
• Possess organizational, problem solving and time management skills 
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS  

• Ability to stand, bend, lift in excess of 50 lbs. repeatedly each day 
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull parts and part containers 
• Ability to stand for long periods of time each day 
• Working in hot environment

Full-Time Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm
