This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Springville or Depew office, offering the opportunity to contribute to projects for government, commercial, and industrial clients. In this role, you'll support the design of mechanical systems, prepare engineering drawings and technical documentation, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and assist with field investigations and construction support. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial and institutional projects.
  • Prepare and revise engineering drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Perform basic engineering calculations, equipment selections, and material takeoffs under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and other project team members.
  • Support project documentation, including specifications, schedules, estimates, and technical reports.
  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and technical research to support project development.
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and assist with construction administration.
  • Ensure designs are accurate and comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Previous internship or work experience in mechanical design is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar software.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willing and able to work in both office and field environments.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks.
  • Ability to comply with company drug screening requirements, including pre-employment testing.
