Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities: Receive, process, and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification. Accurately count, package, label, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision. Process refills, maintain patient records, and ensure accurate documentation. Assist customers with prescription pickups, general questions, and directing clinical concerns to pharmacists. Process insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and collect payments. Manage medication inventory, including shipments, stocking, expiration checks, and supply orders. Follow federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations, including controlled substance procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment. Operate pharmacy software, dispensing equipment, and related technology. Communicate with pharmacists, providers, and patients to support quality care. Protect patient confidentiality and perform additional duties as needed. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. QualificationsQualifications Active Utah Pharmacy Technician license required. Previous pharmacy experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work weekends as needed.
